Mid-face injections are a highly effective solution for addressing volume loss, fine lines and wrinkles in the cheeks and under-eye areas, creating a refreshed and rejuvenated appearance.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS: MID-FACE FILLERS

What Are Mid-Face Fillers? They are injectable treatments composed of hyaluronic acid or other biocompatible substances that are used to add volume, contour and lift. These fillers are specifically designed to address volume loss and sagging in the cheeks, under-eye hollows, and midface region.

What Can Mid-Face Fillers Be Used For? They are commonly used to restore youthful contours, improve facial symmetry and rejuvenate the appearance of the mid-face area. They can effectively address concerns such as sunken cheeks, hollow under-eyes, nasolabial folds and marionette lines, resulting in a more refreshed and rejuvenated appearance.

What Are The Potential Side Effects? While fillers are generally well-tolerated, some common side effects may include temporary redness, swelling, bruising or tenderness at the injection site. These side effects typically resolve within a few days to a week following treatment. In rare cases, more serious side effects such as infection or allergic reactions may occur.

How Effective Are They? Mid-face fillers are highly effective at restoring volume and rejuvenating. Patients typically notice immediate improvements in facial contour and symmetry following treatment, with results lasting anywhere from 6-18 months depending on the type of filler used and individual factors.

Do They Hurt? Most patients report minimal discomfort. The treatment area may be numbed with a topical anaesthetic beforehand to minimise any pain or discomfort, but it is usually mild and well-tolerated.

What Does Mid-Face Filler Treatment Entail? The treatment area will be cleaned and prepared, and the filler will be injected into the targeted areas using a fine needle or cannula. The entire procedure typically takes less than 30-minutes to complete.

Is There Any Downtime? Typically, individuals may experience a slight increase in swelling the morning after the treatment, which promptly diminishes. The majority of patients commonly note puffiness lasting for approximately 24-48 hours. Your personal reaction to the injections is highly individualised so if you bruise easily, the likelihood of bruising following this procedure may be higher.

What If I Hate The Results? To give you peace of mind, HA fillers can be instantly dissolved using the same enzyme that breaks down natural HA in the skin.

How Much Filler Should I Have? The volume depends on your individual goals. We typically administer 1-2mls per session, adjusting this based on your preference. A natural look is always our priority, and we recommend gradual adjustments if needed.

I charge the following for professionally administered filler injections: 1st ml £500; consecutive mls £460.
